A kangaroo kept getting out of his enclosure at the zoo. Knowing that he could hop high, the zoo officials put up a ten foot fence. He was out the next morning, just roaming around the zoo.
A twenty foot fence was put up. Again he went out.
When the fence was forty feet high, a camel in the next enclosure asked the kangaroo, "How high do you think they'll go?"
The kangaroo said, "About a thousand feet, unless somebody locks the gate at night!"
한 캥거루가 동물원 울타리에서 계속해서 탈출했다. 캥거루가 높이 점프할 수 있는 것을 알게 된 동물원 관리인들은 10피트 높이의 울타리를 세웠다. 다음날 아침에도 캥거루는 우리에서 탈출해 동물원을 배회하고 있었다.
울타리 높이는 20피트로 올라갔다. 캥거루는 또 탈출했다.
울타리가 40피트가 됐을 때 옆 우리에 있던 낙타가 캥거루에게 물었다. "재네들이 (울타리를) 얼마나 높이 세울 것 같아?"
캥거루가 답했다. "한 1,000피트까지 가겠지. 누군가 밤에 (울타리) 문을 잠그지 않는다면 말야!"
